ORDINANCE submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 9/5/2024, AUTHORIZING the City Manager to apply for a Compost & Food Waste Reduction Grant (ALN 10.935) of up to $400,000 from the United States Department of Agriculture for the purpose of diverting distressed food loads from landfills to food rescue organizations and creating composting infrastructure to divert food waste from landfills.
