MOTION submitted by Councilmembers Owens and Walsh, WE MOVE that the Administration provides Council with a report on the need for surveillance cameras in surface parking lots throughout the City of Cincinnati and their potential impact on public safety. FURTHER WE MOVE that the report includes research on the effectiveness of surveillance cameras in deterring crime, assisting law enforcement investigations, and improving criminal case outcomes, as well as in conjunction with lighting.
