Title: ORDINANCE submitted by Sheryl M. M. Long, City Manager, on 10/15/2025, AUTHORIZING the City Manager to apply for a grant of up to $2,082,000 from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, FY 2025 Homeland Security Grant Program, Urban Area Security Initiative (the "UASI Grant") (ALN 97.067) to assist the City in preventing, preparing for, protecting against, and responding to acts of terrorism; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept the transfer of equipment and supplies valued at up to $1,889,500 from the Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, which acts as the regional fiscal agent for the UASI Grant; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept and appropriate up to $192,500 to support the Greater Cincinnati Fusion Center; and AUTHORIZING the Director of Finance to deposit the grant funds into Law Enforcement Grant Fund 368x8553, project account no. 25UASI.
