Curp, Interim City Manager, on 5/25/2022, AUTHORIZING the City Manager to apply for, accept, and appropriate a grant in the amount of up to $393,598, effective in FY 2023 pending award timing, from the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Office of Criminal Justice Services, FY 2022 American Rescue Plan Act Law Enforcement Violence Reduction & Staffing Grant (ALN 21.027) for the purpose of covering costs for overtime, researchers, and equipment to assist with dynamic investigations of emerging violent crime hot spots and prolific offender networks; and AUTHORIZING the Finance Director to deposit the grant funds into Law Enforcement Grant Fund 368, Project Account No. 22ARPA, effective in FY 2023 pending award timing.
