Ninety-eight people were confirmed to have died in this tragedy. Citizens of Cincinnati must be ensured that building standards are adequate and regularly enforced to prevent these types of massive collapses. It is especially important for high-risk buildings and high-risk terrain areas to receive proper attention in inspection practices.
