ORDINANCE submitted by John P. Curp, Interim City Manager, on 6/23/2022, AUTHORIZING the establishment of new capital improvement program project account no. 980x164x221603, "Shillito's West Remediation," for the purpose of providing resources for necessary asbestos abatement in the Shillito's West Building; AUTHORIZING the City Manager to accept and appropriate a grant in an amount of up to $900,000 from the Ohio Department of Development, through a subaward from the Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, to newly established capital improvement program project account no. 980x164x221603, "Shillito's West Remediation," for the purpose of providing resources for necessary asbestos abatement in the Shillito's West Building; and DECLARING the expenditures from capital improvement program project account no. 980x164x221603, "Shillito's West Remediation," to be for a public purpose.
