| 1 | | Motion | MOTION, dated 10/13/2016, submitted by Councilmembers Simpson, Flynn, Young, Murray and Seelbach, WE MOVE that the Administration redirect the $40,000 in Human Services funding allocated for the Caracole Transitional Housing Program to the Tender Mercies Permanent Supportive Housing Program. Caracole informed the city that it would not extend its contract for FY2017 funding because it had decided to phase out its City-funded transitional housing program and to institute a permanent supportive housing program instead. Because this new program would not be operational during the contract time, Caracole chose to not extend its contract for this year (See Attachment A for more detailed information); and WE FUTHER MOVE that the Administration take all steps necessary to amend and revise its contracts with Caracole and Tender Mercies to reflect these changes in funding. | Adopted | |
