| 1 | | Motion | MOTION,*(AMENDED) submitted by Mayor John Cranley, WE MOVE that the Administration revise and update the 2013 Green Cincinnati Plan to: 1. Update Cincinnati's goals and strategies for significantly reducing regional greenhouse gas emissions; 2. Maintain the goals of improving the local economy, public health and quality of life through sustainability efforts; 3. Improve the resilience of Cincinnati by identifying and preparing for threats posed by our changing climate and shifting weather patterns; 4. Include equity as a fundamental organizing principle for the City's sustainability efforts; 5. Develop a path to 100% renewable energy for the City of Cincinnati; and 6. Pursue policies that explore innovative uses of solar energy technology. *7. Pursue policies that reduce the citywide use of difficult-to-recycle and non-recyclable items.
