201800632 1 MotionMOTION, submitted by Councilmembers Landsman, Dennard, Young, Sittenfeld and Seelbach, Cincinnati has passed several wage-related ordinances that are aimed to protect workers and lift wages. To help assist in this effort. WE MOVE that the Administration designate a Wage Monitor to further ensure our wage-related ordinances are being adhered to throughout our city. Once the city's Wage Monitor is identified, WE FURTHER MOVE that the Administration hold a press conference with key stakeholders and disseminate the pertinent information to all relevant parties. It will be important for the community to know who the Wage Monitor is, and how to reach them. WE FURTHER MOVE the Administration to consider a 1-800 phone number to make it as easy as possible for workers and others to reach someone to help. WE FURTHER MOVE that the Administration ask that this new Wage Monitor convene a Living Wage Advisory Committee of employers and labor representatives to recommend further steps to protect workers and improve wages.Adopt  Action details Not available
