| 1 | | Motion | MOTION, submitted by Councilmember Sittenfeld, WHEREAS, Green Umbrella and a number of related partners and entities are launching the Cincinnati 2020 District, a collaborative effort to create a network of healthy, high performing buildings in Cincinnati's Central Business District where property owners will voluntarily commit to collectively reduce their buildings' energy use, water consumption and transportation emissions by the year 2020, making Cincinnati the 21st 2030 District in the country; and WHEREAS, Cincinnati City Council has already demonstrated support for the goals of the 2030 District in connection with the passage of the Green Cincinnati Plan in 2018; and WHEREAS, the City of Cincinnati's revolving energy loan fund provides a resource for the City to undertake projects that fulfill the goals of the 2030 District.
