| 1 | | Motion | MOTION, submitted by Councilmembers Simpson and Young, WE DIRECT the Administration to support the development of a Central Access Point for drug treatment providers and a dashboard to track individuals in the drug treatment system. In so doing, the Administration should refer to systems currently being used by Strategies to End Homelessness. WE FURTHER DIRECT the Administration to implement a system that works with the Drug Court to ensure that individuals arrested are referred to outpatient or inpatient treatment. In so doing, the Administration should refer to the process being used by CHANGE Court. WE FURTHER DIRECT the Administration to study the gap in treatment beds/resources and provide a recommendation for additional resources. WE FURTHER DIRECT the Administration to request information from the Hamilton County Heroin Task Force regarding efforts to advance involuntary hold or forced separation legislation at the state-level, so that City Council might support those efforts.
