| 1 | | Motion | MOTION, submitted by Councilmembers Sittenfeld and Landsman WE MOVE that the fitness centers listed below be renamed in honor of Patty Herlinger. (BACKGROUND) Patty Herlinger-who tragically passed away on September 4, 2019-was a beloved, longtime City of Cincinnati employee who served Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW), the Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) and Risk Management over her 31-year career. An avid runner, Patty would often run up to 10 miles a day, and often with Recruits from the Cincinnati Fire Department. Over the course of her career, Patty successfully advocated for the establishment of fitness centers in GCWW's Chester Park Complex, GCWW's Richard Miller Treatment Plant, MSD's Creek Treatment Plant, MSD's Wastewater Collection Facility, and Centennial II. | | |
