MOTION, submitted by Mayor Aftab Pureval, WE MOVE that the City Manager immediately commence the necessary administrative, organizational, legal, and budgetary actions to establish the Stormwater Management Utility (“SMU”) as a standalone agency of the City of Cincinnati, separate and distinct from Greater Cincinnati Water Works, with responsibility for leading, coordinating, and executing the City’s stormwater management, stormwater infrastructure, flood protection, stormwater compliance, and stormwater resilience functions.
